5 steps to getting your life moving
1 Know yourself
People like to tell us who they think we are and what we need to do. But we all deserve to do something we love with our lives. So get to know what you love. Try new things. Meet new people and notice what makes you stronger. What do you really enjoy?
2 Know your life
Before you can go where you want, you need to know where you are. Do you have good people in your life? Do have everything you need? How do you spend your time? What one thing would you keep? What one thing would you change?
3 Know what you want
Now look at where you’d like to be. Imagine what your biography might say. What would you like people to say about you? Think about your career, your family life, your hobbies. Will you be a pillar of the community? Will you become skilled in a profession? Will you live for work or work to live?
4 Plan the first step
Now work out what you need… support, careers advice, training, money, a friend to listen to you? How will you get what you need? Who can help you?
Take action. Even a small step can make a big difference.
