Anxiety comes in all shapes and sizes. Social Anxiety. General Anxiety. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Panic Attacks – or something all your own! If you are living with anxiety it can be disabling and your world can shrink.
What if you knew some proven techniques that would help?
5 ways to wellbeing
Whether you are an introvert or an extrovert, connecting with other people helps to balance your own mental health.
2 Be Active
You don’t have to go to the gym everyday. Being active is more about building activity into your day. Maybe walk instead of getting the bus, get away from your screen and do some cleaning. Little changes can make a big difference.
3 Learn new skills
Try something new. You might find it becomes your next big passion. There are plenty of free programmes out there – so take a look and find something that sounds interesting.
4 Give to others
You’ll get a sense of wellbeing. Giving to others validates your worth and forces you to appreciate yourself. Give your time, make something to give or help someone out. There are lots of ways to brighten someone’s day.
5 Take notice
It’s all too easy to dwell on the bad stuff. Take notice of what happens each day, good or bad. You’ll begin to see more good. It’s healthy to acknowledge that and take it with you.
