Young Champions is our annual event to recognise a selection of incredible young people that have overcome adversity to achieve great things.

This also acts as the biggest fundraising event of the year for Inner Flame, providing vital finances needed as a small charity to continue delivering our service to support unemployed 16-25s in the town.

With a three course dinner, live entertainment, charity auction and raffle to compliment the evening, join us in celebrating a whole host of Swindon’s Young Champions.

We have unfortunately had to postpone 2020’s event due to the coronavirus until October 2nd 2020. Please see all further event details below.

The Awards

Young Champions is a chance to recognise a handful of the incredible young people that we work with through our free programmes for unemployed 16-25 year olds.

All of these individuals have overcome serious barriers in their lives to get to where they are today. We’re delighted to give them the chance to tell their story on the night, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve all achieved.

Guest Speaker

We’re delighted to announce that our special guest for 2020 is Martin Roberts!

The Homes Under the Hammer host for the past 17 years will be joining us to explain his journey to now, including his work supporting young people’s mental health – something naturally very close to our cause through many of the individuals that we work with.

In line with the Government closure of Schools and Colleges, we will no longer be delivering Programmes in person at Inner Flame until further notice. However, we are delighted to say that, as we bring the current Team Programme to a close through distance learning, we will be working on future Programmes which can be wholly delivered in this way.

We will be finalising the details over the next couple of weeks, but courses are likely to include our planned Programme to tackle Anxiety and modified Prince's Trust Programmes. You can call us on 07531 473 482 if you need to speak to us.
