On Friday April 26th 2019, we see the return of Inner Flame’s Young Champions!

We’d like to invite you to once again join us for an evening of entertainment and celebration, recognising the amazing young people in our community. With a three course meal, special guests and live acts, we’re banding together for another year to show just how much support our young people have, and to do a great job in raising money for charity.

Throughout the evening, 4 young people that have participated in Inner Flame courses and achieved great things will once again receive awards to recognise their success.

Alongside the awards, you will enjoy:

– VIP Guest Speaker Piers Linney!

We are delighted to have Dragon’s Den’s Piers Linney as our Young Champions 2019 special guest!

Having starred on the BAFTA nominated series, as well as Channel 4’s The Secret Millionaire, Piers is a self-made millionaire that came from humble beginnings in Stoke-on-Trent. Personally admitting that he’s experience both success and failure, he has become a recognised champion of entrepreneurship, technology and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Notably, Piers has never forgotten his roots, having spent time in prisons working with young offenders, supporting a young child with Asperger’s to go on to achieve 10 GCSE A Grades, and as a government REACH Role Model to support NEETS and young black men and boys.

Linney will be joining us for the duration of the evening to be our guest speaker and award our 2019 young champions.

We also see the return of Olympic legend, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards!

Eddie rose to fame at the 1988 Calgary Games, in which he represented what many felt was the true meaning of sport – enjoyment and participation.

Having spoken at Young Champions 2018, Eddie became the patron of Inner Flame, and as such will be joining the audience in 2019 to celebrate new stories of success.
