October saw residential trips for all three of our current Prince’s Trust Team Programmes running in Swindon, Bath and Oxford. Despite wind and rain for some, all of our students persevered and banded together as a team throughout the week.

From Raft Building to Coasteering, the range of activities is designed to push boundaries and offer new experiences that our course participants may never have seen themselves achieving.

One of our students, Ben, said “I never thought I’d jump off the highest cliff into the sea, but then I did it and the feeling was amazing.”

“It was amazing to see the team really bond this week” said our Bath Team Leader, Nikki Jakeman. “As well as all of the amazing activities, I think it was making smores around the campfire that truly brought the group together.”

Upon the students’ return, they dove straight into the community challenge element of the course. They now look forward to heading out on work placement with their respective employers.
