Course costs

Our priority is to inspire as many young people as we can to reach their potential. We ask participants or their parents to donate what they can to cover the costs of running the course, which helps us reach more young people.

The full cost of the course is £495. This includes everything on the course - accommodation, travel, food, activities, training / coaching staff (including follow up calls), guest speakers, and materials, plus a contribution towards our overheads such as office and insurance costs and expenses. As a charity, we raise funds from organisations who invest in the potential of young people and this funding allows us to grant bursaries to offer places on a part or sometimes almost fully-funded basis.

Thanks to funding, and by keeping our overheads low, we are currently able to offer course places at a cost of £345. This compares favourably to the average cost of a holiday, with far greater long term benefits.

However, we recognise that not everyone can afford to pay this, and we will never turn away a young person who wants to come on the course because they cannot afford it. Our promise, to anyone who has come on an Open Day and qualified to attend the course, is that we will work with them to find the funding. This can involve raising sponsorship, applying for Youth Opportunity Funding, or matching participants to a charitable funder.
